Her professional career, creating conceptual and functional textiles, spans more than 35 years, with work published in several books and magazines; and displayed, attired, and happily utilized in numerous national and international collections.
Jeanne teaches workshops across the country in block carving and screen printing on fabric. She offers individual private lessons and consultations.

“I am happiest when working in the studio, the garden, and cooking a good meal using my hand printed aprons, kitchen or bartender towels and potholders. And occasionally I ask myself, ‘Why create products that are meant for use in the home, kitchen, garden, or about town which will get soiled?’ I always return to the core of my work: I choose to move past the fear of using something I create. I want color, richness, texture, and pattern around me every day. I say, ‘Life is messy, so make it colorful!’”
